British Airways is introducing free quick onboard connectivity through satellite agreement

Flyers flying with this carrier are set to enjoy high-speed internet in the air free of charge due to a new deal involving the billionaire's satellite company.

Complimentary plus Quick Wifi for All

British Airways announced that this complimentary, “fast and dependable” internet provision via Starlink will be accessible to travelers in economy, premium economy, or first class as of the coming month.

Expanded Implementation Over Several Airlines

The umbrella organization of the airline, IAG, stated it had reached an partnership with SpaceX to offer connectivity access for over 500 aircraft within their airlines, such as the Irish airline, the Spanish carrier, and the low-cost airline.

Seamless Internet from Boarding through Landing

BA noted that the implementation of the technology was included in a multi-billion pound “upgrade” plan and will offer uninterrupted wifi coverage for flyers from boarding to arrival, including when in flight over seas or far-off locations.
